Laser closing of cappilaries

Treated area: Legs

The procedure is recommended if the capillaries are small and sclerotherapy cannot be performed. The system of laser capillary closing uses the phenomenon of light absorption by blood haemoglobin accumulated in the damaged capillary. The laser does not damage the epithelium, and as a result the treatments are not very invasive but very precise, they effectively concentrate energy on the tissue being treated. Capillaries on the legs are closed by means of a diode laser or an Nd-Yag laser with a special head developed for closing leg capillaries. After the treatment, the skin is slightly reddened, but the healing period is virtually unnoticeable.
